This glorious cut of meat is actually a large ribeye steak that is specifically cut with about 8-12 inches of the rib bone left on it.
The Tomahawk is cut based on the thickness of the rib bone and is usually 5cm/2 inches thick, weighing approx 1kg, which makes it an ideal sharing steak for a special occasion or romantic meal, as it can easily feed two people.
It is extremely tender and buttery, with beautiful marbling and it has amazing presentation, and dinner table discussion point.

Which Part Am I?
Comes from the upper front part on the young cow, close to the neck. The ribeye is rich, juicy and full-flavored with generous marbling throughout. It is suitable for cooking on a hot skillet to all levels of tenderness.
